5 day Game Walking Trail in the Greater Kruger Park Area

Early in the morning on your day of departure you will be transferred from your hotel to the reserve gate. The drive will take approximately 5 hours with stops along the way. Before long, you will end up at a lovely bush pub to get introduced to your ranger, have lunch and sign the indemnity forms. Once lunch is over, you transferred to a bush camp for the duration of your stay.

The mornings include an early start with rusks and coffee or tea to freshen you up. Sniffing at the fresh morning air and looking around in the bush, you realise that you really are on a South Africa safari. You will be impressed to see your ranger decipher the tracks and signs left by passing creatures in the dark of the night.

Back at the camp, a nourishing breakfast awaits hungry mouths. After breakfast you can kick back and relax before the afternoon siesta. Before the late afternoon activity lunch is served. The last activity for the day is a walk and drive combination. Your ranger will look out for signs of animal activity in the area.

After the walk, your ranger will drive you to a breathtaking spot in the bush where you can have sundowners and watch an awe inspiring African sunset. On your way back to the camp, your ranger will switch on the flashlights and before you know it, you are on a night game drive looking out for nocturnal creatures.

Back at camp you can indulge in a delicious supper and a warm up at a crackling fire. After eating your fill, sleep creeps up on and your bed is a welcome respite after such a long day in the bush.

On the last day of your South African safari you will go out for one last walk. By this time you will realise how much you have learnt during your time in the bush. After breakfast, you bid your ranger a fond farewell and get ready to travel on. Take home with you spectacular memories of your safari.
