3 day Game Lodge Wilderness Adventure Safari in Kruger National Park

Day 1: Arriving at the Game Lodge

After being collected by your guide you depart Johannesburg / Pretoria, travelling east through the highveld farmlands to the Mpumalanga province. After a brief stop for lunch, you continue on your way to a Private game lodge in the Greater Kruger National Park. The Reserve boasts a wide variety of wild animals including some of the Big Five.

After settling in to your chalet accommodation in Kruger National Park, you go out on your first exciting late afternoon / evening game drive. In open 4x4 vehicles and accompanied by an experienced ranger and tracker, you will stop at one of the waterholes or viewpoints, to enjoy a magnificent African sunset while sipping sundowners and marvelling at the wildlife.

Your game drive continues into the night, whereby, with the aid of spotlights you are able to track and observe the creatures of the night. On your return to camp, you will relax with a traditional South African meal around the logfire.

Day 2 - 3: Game Drives and Game Walks

An early rise, you start the day on your 3 day Private Game Lodge safari, with coffee and rusks. You depart for an early morning game drive, providing an insight into nature's finer details and a chance to track big game on foot, once again accompanied by an armed ranger and tracker. You return to camp for brunch, after which your time is spent relaxing around the camp, taking in the beautiful scenery.

You then head off on another late afternoon / evening game drive to spot those nocturnal animals that have been elusive so far. You return to camp for yet another delicious meal relaxing around the logfire, as the night air is filled with the sounds of the wild.

Day 3: Early morning Game Drive and Departure

Up at daybreak on the last day of your 3 day Private Game Lodge safari, you go on your final game drive through the Reserve. This is your last chance to experience the thrill of tracking big game on foot, while enjoying the peace and tranquility of unspoiled, untouched and unforgettable Africa. After brunch you depart from your lodging in Kruger National Park and head for Johannesburg / Pretoria, arriving at approximately 6pm.
