Your African Safari Experience

Located amongst towering trees along the Sand River are the 4 camps and granite suites of Londolozi. The reserve has a history and future so diverse and interesting, that dates back to over 80 years ago. The reserve and the camps have been in the same family for generations, so as to maintain the highest standards.

Each camp features something different to cater for a wide variety of visitors. Whether you want a super luxury suite, an authentic camp, children friendly accommodation or a place for your friends, the reserve has it all. Arriving at the reserve, you will be assisted to check-in, the staff will porter your luggage and a delicious high tea will be served.

Once you are settled in, your ranger will take you on your first game drive. Driving through the bush will bring you to the reality that you are on an African safari. Your guide is well trained and professional, he/she knows the ins and outs of the wild. A variety of animals can be spotted. Birds are prolific in the area and the plant life is very different as you move throughout the reserve.

One of the specialties of Londolozi is the Leopard tracking. Leopard sightings are very popular, and the special Leopard program will give you some insight into these elusive predators. Other wildlife sightings on an African safari include Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo, Wild Dog and a variety of antelope species.

At night you can participate in divine dinners and climb into a very comfortable bed. All the linen and furniture are of the best quality, allowing for peaceful relaxation. The mornings feature early game drives or bush walks, followed by a hearty breakfast. The afternoons can be spent at your leisure, lazing at your private pool, enjoying a convivial drink at the bar, looking at the various historical displays or indulging in one of the spa treatments.

You never have to suffer a dull moment on your African safari. You can either relax or catch up on some sleep. Alternatively there is so much to do, so that you take back fond memories of all the adventures in the day.
