Arathusa Safari Lodge is situated in the exclusive Sabi Sand Game Reserve, which forms part of the Kruger National Park in the north east of the country. After checking in at Arathusa Safari Lodge you will have time to freshen up and settle in before you embark on your first game drive.

The afternoon game drive affords you the opportunity to have a sundowner at a selected venue in the bush. When you return from your game drive, you will have time to relax before dinner is served. The resident chef will prepare delectable meals in the boma over the open fire as well as game specialties in the kitchen. Arathusa safari lodge is small, thus the staff offers personal attention and service at all times.

Each morning at Arathusa Safari Lodge, after you have savoured a sumptuous English or Continental breakfast, you will have the opportunity to experience a guided bush walk with an armed ranger. Being on foot brings an altogether different view of the bush. Upon your return, you can have a drink by the swimming pool, surrounded with its terraced lawns, and watch the waterhole where game come to drink. A vast variety of game and birds frequent this waterhole, as well as the resident female Leopard.

Arathusa Safari Lodge, a spectacular Sabi Sand accommodation is a secluded place where one can view some of South Africa's most diverse wildlife. Accommodation is offered to a maximum of 20 guests in 10 rooms , so that you always get that exclusive experience. These small numbers ensures complete privacy, tranquility and exclusivity in the heart of the African bush.

Guests can enjoy 2 daily game drives during this safari in South Africa. On the very early morning drive you are served refreshments under a Thorn Tree and on the sunset drive, drinks and snacks will be served, before enjoying the nocturnal sightings of the bush. You will be accompanied by an experienced and knowledgeable ranger who knows the bush. Their expert knowledge of the fauna and flora makes the experience that much more enriching.
