Days 1 & 2: MalaMala Main Camp, South AfricaPrior to your departure you will have received all your travel documents and information about your South African safari and can get ready for an African wildlife experience. After arriving at Johannesburg International Airport you will check in for your flight to MalaMala.
On arrival at MalaMala Airfield, you will be met by MalaMala staff and transferred to MalaMala Main Camp which will be your accommodation for the next 2 days. Check in is at MalaMala Main Camp. All meals and game activities included.

The MalaMala Game ReserveThe MalaMala Game Reserve is the oldest and most historic private game reserve in South Africa and has been in existence since 1927.
It has gained its impressive reputation through sound conservation management, sheer size of land and a 19 kilometre/12 mile unfenced border shared with the Kruger National Park and is known as one of the best game viewing destinations in the world.
Due to the open boundaries, guests have unimpeded access to the Kruger wildlife and MalaMala habitat. MalaMala is one of the largest private Big Five game reserves in the country and also features the largest piece of land in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, South Africa's oldest conservancy of private game reserves.
This game reserve also consistently features in the top tourism and travel awards such as Travel and Leisure's 'World's Best Hotel' and Conde Nast Traveler's 'Top Hotel in Africa'.

The MalaMala Main CampThe MalaMala Main Camp features individually decorated, spacious and comfortable rooms under traditional thatched roofs and offers you spectacular views of the river and the wildlife of the MalaMala Game Reserve.
All of the rooms are fully equipped with 'his and hers' bathrooms, 24 hour temperature control, insect proofing, direct dial telephones, a mini bar and a mini safe. This camp offers an authentic bushcamp atmosphere and the MalaMala's famous attention to detail.

Rattray's on MalaMalaThe Rattray's on MalaMala is an exclusive South African safari experience. Each of the 8 luxurious suites (khayas) occupies its own elevated site overlooking the Sand River. Each suite at Rattray's functions as an inclusive home, boasting the finest furnishings, lavish 'his and hers' bathrooms, a secluded outdoor shower and an opulent verandah with breathtaking river views. Each khaya also features optional wireless internet, a laptop and satellite landlines.
There is a plasma TV with entertainment channels and global news networks like BBC and CNN. To avoid detracting from the wildlife experience, all communications equipment (except landline telephones) will be locked away in a cabinet and will only be removed if the guest asks for the key.
Also available at the main building is a viewing deck, air conditioned library, an attractive bar that showcases the history of the area and an adjoining wine cellar stocked with a wide range of South Africa's finest wines. Guests will get a unique opportunity to view Africa at its finest during your stay at MalaMala Game Reserve.

Days 3 & 4: Camp Jabulani, South AfricaAfter an exciting game drive, guests enjoy breakfast and are then transferred to the airstrip for a short transfer to Hoedspruit Airport.
Here you will be met by Camp Jabulani's staff that will then transfer you to the lodge. The road transfer is approximately 10 minutes. All meals and standard activities included.

The Kapama Game ReserveThis reserve, situated in the Limpopo Province, offers prime big game territory and has successfully combined the wilderness of the bush with the comforts of 5 star hospitality and facilities for your world-class South African safari. The reserve offers majestic views of the nearby Drakensberg Mountain Range and is only 40 kilometres/25 miles from the Kruger National Park.
The reserve is centrally located close to most of the scenic areas of Mpumalanga and the Limpopo Provinces. This reserve offers a wide variety of game, including Elephant, Buffalo, Rhinoceros, Giraffe, Zebra, Blue Wildebeest, Waterbuck, Kudu and many other species of Antelope. Predators include Lion, Leopard, Cheetah, Spotted Hyena any many other smaller species. This area also boasts around 350 species of bird.
There is diverse vegetation that is typical Lowveld, such as woodland with a variety of Acacia and bushwillow species and also includes Tamboti, Marula, Silver Clusterleaf and Jackalberry.
Due to sound wildlife management and research, the reserve boasts a herd of 12 full grown Elephants accommodated at Camp Jabulani on the Kapama Game Reserve. Camp Jabulani is the first to offer a luxury Elephant experience in South Africa.

Day 5: Camp Jabulani, South AfricaAfter an early morning game drive followed by breakfast at the camp on the last day of your South African safari, you will be road transferred to Eastgate Airport (Hoedspruit Airport) where you will connect with the scheduled flight to Johannesburg.
