Days 1 - 3: Camp Shawu, Kruger National Park, South Africa

Camp Shawu is set on the banks of the Mpanamana Dam and will be your home for the next 3 nights. With authentic dung walls, Camp Shawu paints a picture of 'real Africa'. This lodge is located in a 15 000 hectare private concession in the south eastern section of the Kruger National Park.

This exclusive lodge accommodates a maximum of 10 guests in 5 spacious rooms overlooking the Mpanamana Dam. All rooms are beautifully equipped with a romantic ball and claw bath, mini bar, sitting area facing an open fireplace, ceiling fans and an outside shower. An opulent verandah with reclining chairs is the perfect spot to enjoy a bit of game watching during your Kruger Park safari.


Activities at this camp include walking trails and exciting safaris in open 4WD vehicles.

Days 4 - 7: Camp Shonga, Kruger National Park, South Africa

This intimate bush camp is built in the foothills of the Lebombo Mountains and is set only 20 minutes from Camp Shawu. Camp Shonga offers the most beautiful views over the African bushveld. This camp has the added emphasis of guests' participation in select environmental awareness programmes.


This camp offers luxurious accommodation in 5 individual tents, all beautifully equipped with ball and claw baths, mini bars, ceiling fans, outside shower, fireplace and private game viewing deck with recliners and umbrellas. Located in Big Five country, the guides at this camp shares their extensive knowledge of the bush with you, ensuring an all round Kruger Park safari experience.
